I have been taking pictures since college. Everywhere I went my camera went with me. Years later, what began as a hobby blossomed into what you see today. Through the grace of God and support from my beautiful wife (who was unknowingly my first model),family and friends, I have been blessed to capture some of the most amazing moments in peoples' lives. And, to those who are viewing my work today, I say thank you for you too are helping me grow as a person and photographer.
Why the name Beautiful U Photography?
I wanted a name for my business that made a statement about what I wanted to do as an artist. Every time I take pictures at an event, I always encounter someone who tries to shy away from the camera. When I approach them they always reply, "I don't take good pictures." As you know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder; as we all come in different sizes, shapes, skin tones and ethnicity. However as we blend together and form this fabric of life, we become one. So as a photographer, I want to capture the person in their best light i.e. saying their vows, playing sports, laughing with friends, enjoying the birth of a child; hence the name... Beautiful U Photography.
